Four students from Cindy Art Studio garner TOP HONORS!
Grace Chang took home the GOLD AWARD, Robert Tseng and David Zhang
each earned SILVER AWARDS, and  Jessica Xu took home the BRONZE
AWARD.
2005 Wonderful Colorful World of Cray-Pas Art Contest:
Jocelyne Hsia's artwork has received HONORABLE MENTION for
her painting, Flower Reflections, in 2005's Wonderful Colorful
World of Cray-Pas Art Contest. Her artwork will be shown at the
Sun Gallery in Hayward, California.
2005 Pentel International Children's Art Exhibition
Calvin Le won the SILVER AWARD in Pentel's 35th International Children's Art
Exhibition! This year, over 2500 students from the United States entered,
while more than 200,000 works were submitted worldwide.
2004 Pentel International Children's Art Exhibition:
Seven students from Cindy Art Studio win top honors! To read

Winners include: Tiffany Yin (SILVER), Grace Chang (SILVER),
Geraldine Hwang (BRONZE), and Pauline Chu, Kelly Shi, Parisa
Loftis, and Tiffany Wang all brought home PENTEL AWARDS.
Four students from Cindy Art Studio take home awards! Maggie Hwang,
Kaitlin Kwong, and Hannah Marianetti bring back SILVER AWARDS, while
their classmate, Justin Cho brings home a BRONZE!

Four students from Cindy Art Studio take home awards! Brian Yin brings
back a SILVER AWARD, while Rachel Luo, Kasey Cheng, and Sheila Chen
bring home BRONZE AWARDS!
2007 Congressional Art Contest & 2007 Olympiad of the Arts
Joey Ly, was informed by Congressman Mike Honda that his
artwork, Sadness (right), took 3RD PLACE in the 2007
Congressional Art Contest. His painting can be viewed through
the Congressman's website.
Sadness also received an HONORABLE MENTION in the 2007
Olympiad of the Arts, High School Visual Arts Competition
held by West Valley College.
2007 Challenger School Art Fair
Kaitlin Kwong took 1ST PLACE with her wonderful artwork, Maiko (right).
Kaitlin Kwong has also been selected to represent California
in the World Children's Festival. Her painting Ice Skating was
chosen out of 3 million entries world-wide to be on display in
Washington D.C. on the National Mall as part of the Festival.

Other Art Olympiad entries from Cindy Art Studio students:
Wendy Nguyen, Mikaela Elardo, Calvin Le, Belle Yu, David
Zhang, and Sonia Ruiz, have the honor of having their artworks
featured on the Art Olympiad website.
William Jang (left, with his proud mom

artworks were chosen finalists at the
12th Annual River of Words
Environmental Poetry & Art Contest.

Their artworks will be published in the
2007 Anthology, River of Words: the
Natural World as Viewed by Young
People
William attended the awards ceremony in Washington D.C
at The Library of Congress on May 15th, and was even
persuaded to give a speech (right).

Sisters Kelly Shi and Karey Shi took home
prizes in the art contest held by the World
Journal and sponsored by World Financial
Group. Kelly received 3RD PLACE & Karey
was a FINALIST.

Alysia Wang's artwork (left) won the PENTEL AWARDS.

2007 San Jose Chinese School Art Contest
Jessica Kan took 1ST PLACE.
